Rovinj – Location and Natural Features
Rovinj is one of the most beautiful towns on the Istrian Peninsula, located on its western coast. With around 15,000 inhabitants, it is considered a medium-sized Istrian town, and its administrative area covers approximately 430 square kilometers. A distinctive feature of Rovinj is its indented coastline – the Rovinj archipelago includes 16 islands, islets, and reefs, while the total length of its coastline is about 67 kilometers.
